COVID-19: Staff Wellness
This is a challenging time for our community and for health care. We are fortunate to have our committed SAH professionals, leading our COVID-19 efforts. SAH has been receiving countless messages of support directed at our frontline health care providers who have been working tirelessly to protect the health of our patients. We thank them for their dedication.
Information is rapidly changing and can be confusing and overwhelming for us all. SAH is keenly aware of this impact and of the tremendous stress and anxiety that this global crisis has placed on all our workers. Balancing your responsibilities as both a health care worker and a care provider for your own family is never easy, even at the best of times. Now more than ever, we understand that each of you face your own challenges both at home and at work.
While is it important to stay informed, looking after ourselves and each other is essential during these difficult times. We encourage all workers to seek out support opportunities.
SAH, along with our Joint Health and Safety Committee, Employee Wellness Committee and our outpatient Mental Health Team have partnered to develop resources to support our workers.
