Our Patient and Family Advisory program is comprised of individuals who have received care or are family members/loved ones of patients who have received care at Sault Area Hospital. They work alongside health care providers and decision-makers to share their experiences and insights in order to ensure the voice of the patient and family is brought into the decision-making process. 

At present, SAH has five PFACs: Algoma District Cancer Program, SAH Corporate Council, Algoma Regional Renal Program, Mental Health and Addictions and Emergency Department.  Our PFAs play a significant role in how SAH operates.
