The Sault Ste Marie Horticultural Society is a group of volunteers who love to grow things, learn about gardening, and share knowledge with others.
Over the last 2 years, we have seen an increase in the number of people who are finding gardening as a way to improve their health and wellness. It is a great way to learn from each other, become social with others of the same interest, and build a space that you can be proud of and enjoy.
This year the Society had decided to tour gardens for many to enjoy virtually, we were able to hold several zoom presentations, sell plants that our Greenhouse committee had grown through online sales and hold a dedication ceremony at The Suzanne Hanna Memorial Community Garden.
