SSM COVID-19 Assessment Centre is Open

March 2, 2021 – For your health and safety and to protect our community, the Sault Ste. Marie COVID-19 Assessment Centre remains open for testing.

The Centre is located at 165 Drive In Road. Please call (705) 759-3434 ext. 7152 to make an appointment. Hours of operation are 8 am – 8 pm, 7 days per week. Staff at the Assessment Centre will determine if you are eligible for an in-centre or drive-up testing appointment.

Testing is available to individuals 2 years of age and over. The testing criteria is available here: who can visit an assessment centre. The Centre continues to provide testing to target groups such as caregivers/visitors in long-term care facilities.

Please note that as per government of Ontario guidelines, this Centre does not provide testing for asymptomatic individuals (the worried well) unless they are part of a target group such as caregivers/visitors in long-term care facilities.
