Medical Learner Orientation Modules
Please complete all training modules. You will be required to submit a checklist at the end where you can submit your certificates, attestations and all other documents.
SAH Orientation
The following orientation modules are specific to SAH and must be completed at the start of each placement at SAH:

☐ Healthy, Well and Safe at Work
☐ Workplace Violence Prevention
Provincial Health & Safety Training Modules
All medical facilities in Ontario are legislatively required to provide standard health and safety training to workers. Due to the nature of your varied placements as a medical learner, you may have already completed the following training at another site.
Please review this list of modules below and either complete them or provide proof that you have completed them at another hospital. Proof of completion includes module completion certificate or verification from another Ontario hospital that clearly defines the module and date completed.
The following orientation modules are to be completed every 3 years:
☐ Worker Health & Safety Awareness (*certificate required)
☐ IPAC Core Competency Training (5 modules – Additional Precautions, Administrative Controls, Control of Environment, Occupational Health & Safety for Clinical Staff, Healthcare provider Controls) (*certificate required)
* Certificates must be submitted at the end of this training
