Featuring Angelyn Hipe, RN

Angelyn Hipe is a Registered Nurse in our Float Pool, working across our inpatient medical, rehabilitation and overflow units. She began her work at SAH in June 2023 after completing her education at Sault College.

Prior to working at SAH, Angelyn worked in Muscat, Oman at the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital on the Behavioural/Psychology Unit. “It is exciting to now be working on medical units and gaining valuable clinical skills,” she says. “I enjoy working in the float pool because the environment is always changing and I have the opportunity to get to know many staff and physicians across the hospital.” Angelyn is a hard worker and dedicated to her patients and families. “I treat patients the way I would want someone to treat my family. I want them to feel satisfied, heard and cared for.”

According to Angelyn, she strives to do her best every day. Her colleagues have praised her for being thorough, exercising excellent clinical judgement and for always being kind and caring to patients and their families.

In her spare time, Angelyn enjoys spending time with her young children and traveling. We take this opportunity to recognize and thank her for her dedication and outstanding care.
