Welcome Dr. Jessica Willis, Pediatrician

Sault Area Hospital welcomes pediatrician, Dr. Jessica Willis to our hospital and community.

Dr. Willis was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. She attended medical school at the National University of Ireland Galway and completed her pediatric residency at Western University in London, Ontario. She comes to SAH from Toronto where she recently completed her adolescent medicine fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

“I wanted to practice in a community setting and Sault Ste. Marie was perfect. I have family here and have been visiting this community most of my life,” she says. “I love Sault Ste. Marie and everyone at SAH has been friendly and welcoming.” Dr. Willis specializes in adolescent medicine including eating disorders, substance use disorders, mental health, and sexual health. She will be working at the Group Health Centre and will be working on-call at SAH. Dr. Willis is a clinical lecturer with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University and enjoys mentoring learners.

In her spare time, Dr. Willis enjoys cross-country skiing, running, and reading.
