Dr. Brad Slagel received his undergraduate science degree at Queen’s University in Kingston.  Following this, he studied medicine at the University of Toronto and then returned to Queen’s University to pursue orthopedic surgery training.

 

Once having finished his orthopedic surgery residency he went to London, Ontario to the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic where he completed a surgical Sports Medicine Fellowship, specializing in arthroscopic treatment of shoulders and knees.  From there he then completed an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at the University of Ottawa.

 

Dr. Slagel has been practising in Sault Ste. Marie since August 2010.  His practice is focused on arthroscopic treatment of shoulders and knees, as well as total knee replacement.
